UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES COMMITTEE (UGSC)

The Undergraduate Studies Committee (UGSC) oversees the Faculty's Bachelor of Arts and Bachelors of Science degree programs, focusing on academic planning, approval of undergraduate course grades, course work and awards, liaison with instructors, sessionals, subcommittees and FHS staff. The UGSC also deliberates with the Senate Undergraduate Studies Committee.  

The UGSC meets monthly and HSUSU has two executive members that represent both programs.

I-EDI Advocacy

What is I-EDI?

I-EDI stands for Indigenization, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

The Faculty of Health Science at SFU strives for a collective approach that calls on its members to share in the work of Indigenization, equity, diversity and inclusion.

I-EDI Advisory Circle

The I-EDI Advisory Circle consists of different members of the FHS community, including faculty, staff and students, who meet monthly to provide guidance for advancing Indigenization, equity, diversity, and inclusion work within the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The I-EDI Advisory Circle meets once every month, from September through July.
